Food Technologist - Bradford - £20,000 - £35,000 I am currently recruiting a Food Technologist for a large Food & FMCG company. This role has become available as part of their expansion, they have a large portfolio of products and extensive range of house hold meals and they wish to continue growing and coming out with new exciting products. This position will be reporting into the Operations Manager and will be responsible for • Completing product specifications. • Generating new product ideas and recipes. • Modifying and improving existing recipes & Products • Designing processes and machinery for the production of recipes on a large scale. • Liaising with marketing staff. • Ensuring that strict hygiene food safety standards are met. • Identifying and choosing products from suppliers. • Monitoring the use of additives. • Work with engineering to create efficiencies. • Maintaining document control and drawing up recipes and trialling in NPD kitchen. • • Being responsible for HACCP and HACCP auditing in addition to the BRC Global Standards. • Taking responsibility of the record keeping in relation to BRC Global Standards. • Helping the company achieve the BRC Global Standards AA Rating. The ideal candidate will be Degree qualified in a related discipline and have some experience working in a similar role who ever fresh graduates will also be considered for a Junior role.
